A Typical Day

A day at Sivananda Ashram is filled with spiritual activities aimed at enhancing sadhana (spiritual practice) for visitors of all backgrounds.

Morning Schedule:

  • 5:00 – 6:00 AM: Meditation, chanting, and a short talk.
  • 6:00 – 7:00 AM: First worship, yoga (men only), and chanting.
  • 7:30 – 9:00 AM: Vishnu Sahasranama chanting.
  • 9:30 – 10:30 AM: Worship at Gurudev’s Samadhi Shrine and Lord Viswanath.

  • 1:00 – 3:00 PM: Music sessions.
